TENDER

Sealed tenders will be received by the undersigned up to 2 p.m., local time July 28, 2011 for the following:

#LCMPCC2011-003 Provision of all Services required to complete Excavation, Backfill and Site Works including Site Sewers and Services for the new Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre.

Tenders are to be delivered to Town Offices, 60 Pleasant Street, Bridgewater, N.S. The tenders will be publicly opened in the Town Offices at 2:10 p.m., local time on the closing date.

All tenders must be submitted on a Lunenburg County Multi-Purpose Centre Corporation tender form in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the tender name and number.

Drawings, specifications and/or particulars will be made available Wednesday, June 29, 2011 and may be obtained from the Project Manager at the 7071 Buyers Rd., Suite 5007, Halifax, N.S., or from the Town Offices, 60 Pleasant Street, Bridgewater, NS.

Bidders should note the extent of the work includes clearing and grubbing, bulk excavation, rock excavation and removal, importation of fill, excavation of rock for building foundations, services and appurtenances, clay liner, granular, asphalt and concrete curbs. Please refer to Summary of Work in tender information. Additional drawings are available for purchase from Norman Wade Halifax. Bonding or Surety Deposit is required.

The Lunenburg County Multi-Purpose Centre Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, not necessarily accept the lowest tender, or to not accept any tender(s) which it may consider not to be in its best interest. The Corporation also reserves the right to waive formality, informality or technicality in any tender.
