Position Summary:

The Guest Services Representative is a member of the Guest Services team.  The Representative provides excellent customer service by offering assistance, answering questions, educating about facility rules and procedures, and presenting all available options in a friendly and courteous manner.  The Representative should also recognize and promote any opportunities for added value and increased sales.  They must have exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving skills to ensure a positive guest experience.  Representatives are responsible for both in-person and over-the-phone program registration, internal and external communication, facility admission, and membership sales. 

The LCLC is open 7 days a week. This is a part time position (15 - 20 hours weekly) and you must be available to work mornings /afternoons/ evenings

Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Conduct customer service duties.
    • Process payments, returns, gift cards etc.
    • Perform program registration, enter facility bookings, and process membership sales in our POS system.
    • Complete ticket sale transactions for LCLC and third-party events.
    • Communicate effectively with fellow team members and guests via telephone and email.
    • Maintain a neat and organized work area.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of aquatic and arena programming procedures and policies.
    • Recognize and act to resolve potential problems proactively.
    • Participate in all scheduled staff meetings and training opportunities.
    • Enforce facility rules and regulations in a positive manner.
    • Work with team members to ensure proper communication and seamless delivery of information to members and guests.
    • Handle all requests, inquiries, or complaints when received by responding directly where appropriate, or forwarding to the Guest Services Supervisor.
    • Arena dressing room assignments and Screenscapes management.
    • Provide administrative support to Aquatics and the Management Team as required.
    • Commitment to develop interpersonal relationships with facility users, user groups & program participants and add to their positive experience.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following background and/or qualifications:

  • Knowledge of computer systems and word processing programs.
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team.
  • Ability and willingness to be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain respectful and cooperative working relationships with all teammates.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to recognize and act to resolve potential problems proactively.
  • Commitment to develop interpersonal relationships with facility users, user groups & program participants and add to their positive experience.
  • Standard First Aid/ CPR-C


  • Will commensurate with education and experience
