LCLC BOARD ANNOUNCES THE ARRIVAL OF NEW GM JANETTE HUBKA
The Board of Directors of the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre (LCLC) are excited to share with the community that the facility has hired Janette Hubka as the new General Manager.
With an extensive leadership portfolio, Janette brings valuable experience from her roles at institutions such as the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Alberta and the Art Gallery of Alberta. Her most recent position as the Managing Director at the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts in Canning, NS, has further enriched her expertise.
Janette is recognized for her community-oriented approach and her remarkable achievements in fostering cohesive teams and ensuring operational excellence.
"I'm thrilled to contribute my expertise to the LCLC," says Janette. "I am eager to continue the momentum of past achievements and cultivate a dynamic, inclusive space that serves as a thriving hub for community engagement and recreational activities."
David Mitchell, Bridgewater’s mayor and the current chairperson of the LCLC’s Board of Directors, said

She is a dynamic individual, with great ideas on how to grow the importance of this facility for our community, and we know with her years of experience in management that she's up to the task – she will be a great leader for the organization."
