Update on the LCLC Aquatic Closure Update May 14, 2024:
Welcome back! We are pleased to share that the Lap Pool has re-opened at 2pm today, Tuesday, May 14th.
The Play Pool will re-open at 4pm, it is still a few degrees below it’s regular temperature. Swimming lessons will take place as regularly scheduled.
Unfortunately, we need a bit more time to finalize repairs and heating of the Therapy Pool. We intend to open it on Monday, May 20th but if it is ready sooner we will let you know.
We truly appreciate everyone’s patience as we completed these necessary repairs and thank our hard-working team for all they have put into making this closure a success.
Update on the LCLC Aquatic Closure Update May 10, 2024:
Thank you for your continued support and understanding during our pool closure. In order to ensure the best experience for all and to complete maintenance we will be extending the Aquatic Centre Closure.
The Lap and Play pools are scheduled to re-open on Tuesday, May 14th at 2pm. Swimming lessons will take place at their scheduled times on Tuesday but please note there will be reduced seating for parents/guardians on the pool deck. Elderfit Aquacize, Aquafit and other programming will resume on Wednesday, May 15th. The Therapy Pool will require additional time to reopen and is expected to open on Wednesday, May 15th, as it needs extra time to reach the optimal temperature.
We truly appreciate everyone’s patience as we completed these necessary repairs and appreciate the hard work our team has put into making this closure a success. We look forward to welcoming you back to the LCLC!
Starting Monday, April 29th 2024, the LCLC Aquatic Centre will temporarily close for a two-week period to conduct essential maintenance. We anticipate re-opening on May 13th.Please note that this maintenance will impact all areas of the Aquatic Centre, including the Lap Pool, Therapy Pool, Play Pool, and Splash Pad. This closure will replace the previously scheduled maintenance period from June 24th to July 5th.
During this time, swimming lessons will be paused and will resume promptly after re-opening. New end dates for the Spring lessons are as follows:
- Tuesday Classes: June 18
- Wednesday Classes: June 19
- Thursday Classes: June 27
- Saturday Classes: June 29
- Sunday Classes: June 30
- Bronze Cross participants will be contacted directly with an updated schedule of lessons.
All scheduled programming and bookings will be cancelled, and all Memberships will be extended by 14 days.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to ensure the safety and well-being of our members and patrons by addressing these necessary maintenance tasks.
