MAYORS ISSUE STATEMENTS FOLLOWING NEWS THAT THE LUMBERJACKS ARE RELOCATING
Today our communities learned that the Board of Governors of the Maritime Hockey League unanimously approved the relocation of the South Shore Junior A Lumberjacks hockey club to Bouctouche, New Brunswick.
 
“As a long-time supporter of the team and their billet family program, I am deeply disappointed at the decision by the management of the South Shore Lumberjacks to move the team. Their departure will leave a void in our community and a sense of loss for the many volunteers, fans, and LCLC staff who have supported them over the years. It is truly disheartening to see them go, but I know the LCLC team are working hard to recruit high-level hockey back to the arena.”

How do I sign-up for a NEW joint membership?

Visit either facility to purchase a new joint membership. Please allow 24 hours for your account to be set up at the other facility.

Does this membership cost more?

If you choose to upgrade to a joint LCLC x YMCA membership, the cost does increase please see the table above for full membership rates.

How do I upgrade to the new membership?

Visit the facility of your current membership and request an upgrade to the new LCLC x YMCA Joint Membership. Please allow 24 hours for your account to be set up at the other facility.

Do I need two cards?

No, you will be issued a new joint membership card when upgrading or purchasing a membership.

Are the current LCLC Memberships changing?

No, the current Adult, Senior, Youth, Student & Family LCLC memberships will remain the same and are still available for purchase.
