Swimming Lesson Registration Policies

General:

• Online registration for swimming lessons will close one week prior to the start date. In-person registration ends after the second class of the program.
• The LCLC reserves the right to increase swim lesson fees and adjust lesson timetable at anytime.
• Interaction between parent/guardian and student during lessons is to be limited. This is a distraction to the student and disrupts the class. We ask you, not to sit directly behind your student’s class and to not speak with them during their lesson. Praise them for their efforts after the class. Thank you for your cooperation.
• Please tie your student’s hair back out of their face. Long hair hinders their ability to perform skills to standard.
• Please NO GOGGLES before Swimmer 2.

Refunds/Withdrawls:

• Requests for refunds or class transfers will be issued up until the third lesson. No refunds or class transfers will be made after this time.
• If the program has started, a credit on account will be prorated based on the number of lessons passed in the session, not the number of lessons attended by the swimmer.
• A full (100%) refund/or credit is given if a program is cancelled by the BMO Financial Group Aquatic Centre.
• Refunds/withdrawals/transfers can be requested through Guest Services.
• There is an administrative fee of $25.00 for withdrawl.

Missed Lessons: 

• Attendance and practice is important for your child's success.
• The LCLC may occasionally need to cancel an Aquatic Program class due to inclement weather or mechanical difficulties. In the case of such cancelations, the class will be made up on the same day and time, the week following the scheduled end date.
• If a participant misses class due to medical circumstances, they can have the monetary amount of the missed class credited to their LCLC account, medical note required. Credit that has been applied to a participant's account cannot be redeemed as a cash refund.
