The Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre offers a variety of Aquatic Leadership courses designed for individuals seeking advanced lifesaving training and certification. Whether you are working toward becoming a lifeguard or looking to enhance your aquatic skills, our programs provide the challenge and expertise you're looking for.
Prerequisites:
Bronze Medallion:
- 13 years of age and / or Bronze Star Certification
Bronze Cross
- Completion of Bronze Medallion and Standard First Aids Certifications
National Lifeguard Course
- 15 years of age and completion of Bronze Cross
Swim for Life Instructor Course
- 15 years of age and completion of Bronze Cross

Specialized Swim Programs:
Sensory Friendly Swim:
A unique swim experience open to all ages and individuals who would benefit from a sensory-friendly environment. The pool will be exclusively available, and the initiative is presented by the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg in collaboration with the South Shore Chapter of Autism Nova Scotia.

Women & Girls Swim:
An inclusive program presented in partnership with the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg. Open to women and girls of all ages, as well as those under 5 years of age regardless of gender identity.
Schedule: Saturdays 4pm to 5pm
Cost: Free with no pre-registration required.
LCLC Summer Day Camp Refund & Transfer Policy
Refund Policy
Camp registrations must be paid in full at time of enrollment.
To cancel your registration and be eligible for a refund, Guest Services at the Lunenburg Country Lifestyle Centre must receive notice twenty-one (21) days prior to the day of camp commencement. All camp withdrawals are subject to a $25 administrative fee.

Within fourteen (14) days prior to the camp start date, registrations are non-refundable unless:

A camp is cancelled by the LCLC, in which case a full refund of the registration fee will be issued

A camper cannot participate due to medical reasons, substantiated by a medical certificate.
Refunds for those who have paid by cash, cheque, money order, debit card, or direct deposit are issued directly to the payee in the form of a cash or debit refund. Refunds may be processed in person by presenting the corresponding card used in the initial transaction to Guest Services.
Refunds for payments made by VISA or MasterCard are credited to the account number of the credit card used to pay the camp fees.
Transfer Policy
To transfer or change registration of a camper from one camp date to another, Guest Services must receive the request at least seven (7) days prior to the camp commencement date. Any transfer to another camp date is subject to the availability of space in that camp and any difference in fees.
