Dear Parents/Guardians

We at the LCLC are incredibly saddened to say that in the name of public health we will need to cancel our March Break Camp. This is not a decision that we came to lightly and I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience this will cause. There are currently 3 presumptive cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia and a media announcement at 3:00, but we did not want to leave what seems like the inevitable decision until any later in the day.

Thank you for your understanding.

Information for LCLC Members

Given the ever-changing landscape of the COVID-19 situation, we wanted to make sure you were aware of a few options available during the uncertainty:

  • Annual Members: Option to freeze your membership until you would like to return. We will extend your pass to account for the time frozen
  • Monthly pass holders: Option to freeze any remaining days on your pass and defer them to when you return.

If you would like to make any changes to your membership or have any questions about your membership please contact us by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

March 14 notice March Break Camps

With March Break camp next week, at present, we are moving ahead as planned. We expect to be able to limit camp group sizes to less than 10 campers, we will focus on limiting contact between campers and enforce increased personal hygiene specifically around hand washing.

The health & safety of our Communities & the employees of the LCLC are our top priority. We all must do our part in protecting our community in the spread of COVID-19. As such we will be following the advice/directive of the Nova Scotia Provincial Government and are requesting that people who have traveled internationally or been in contact with someone that has traveled internationally to please not visit the facility for 14 days following their return.

We understand that this is not ideal, however as we serve a large group of people that are considered vulnerable to COVID-19 we feel we must be proactive, diligent & cautious in our approach.

As the situation evolves it is likely that we will need to asses and we may have to cancel the camp on short notice, in that case we will contact each parent/guardian directly. We will also keep the community updated via our social media accounts, website & voice mail.

If you would like to cancel your registration we will offer a full refund and make that process as smooth as possible.

UPDATE MARCH 4, 2020 4:00 PM

The Therapy Pool will remain closed but we hope to open before the end of the day.

Tuesday March 3, 2020

The Therapy Pool is closed for maintenance for the full day.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

The LCLC and the SS Mustangs are committed to providing an accessible and enjoyable experience for all fans. In recent games the use of excessively loud compressed air horns as well as battery powered banks of horns has presented a real concern for the well-being and enjoyment of many of our patrons. As a response to these excessive actions compressed air and battery powered noise makers will no longer be permitted in the facility. We sincerely thank you for your support this season.
