AQUATIC PROGRAMS

Public Swims:
Open Swim – All pools are accessible to the general public and members. We make efforts to reserve one lane for lap swimming. On Saturdays and Sundays, our Inflatable Obstacle Course is available.
Recreational Swim – Open to the public and members, with three lanes designated for lap swimming.
Aquatic Form & Distance Swim:
Conducted by the Bridgewater Triathlon Club, this program caters to swimmers of all skill levels. The curriculum focuses on establishing swim lane etiquette, building endurance, emphasizing consistency, strength training, stroke development, and techniques for open water swimming.
Participants: Those capable of swimming 25 meters without interruption.
Schedule: Tuesdays 7-8pm / Sundays 7:30-8:30am
Cost: Free for Bridgewater Triathlon Members, LCLC Members, or regular swim fee. No Pre-Registration Required.
Sensory Friendly Swim:
A unique swim experience open to all ages and individuals who would benefit from a sensory-friendly environment. The pool will be exclusively available, and the initiative is presented by the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg in collaboration with the South Shore Chapter of Autism Nova Scotia.

Women & Girls Swim:
An inclusive program presented in partnership with the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg. Open to women and girls of all ages, as well as those under 5 years of age regardless of gender identity.
Schedule: Saturdays 5-6pm
Cost: Free with no pre-registration required.
Rainbow Swims:
Commencing Saturday, January 27th, 6-7pm (biweekly until June 15th). This program is designed to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their families. Members not part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community are encouraged to choose alternative times for skating and swimming.
Cost: Free with no pre-registration required.
